With the close of most of Alpine School District's traditional school programs for the summer, the dis- trict's Community and Adult regular academic year, improve D grades, or improve study habits will be able to do so in a new way this year through the district's summer program. Edu- cation Department is starting its summer program. Last month, over 40,000 brochures describing the summer offerings were distributed to Northern Utah County homes. According to Jennie Barber, Director of Adult and Community Education for the district, the summer classes cover a wide variety of subjects and interests. There are courses for elementary students, Adventure Club for kids, secondary education classes, Summer Assisted Study, and a wide variety of community education Also included in the district's summer offering are three other exciting program.
