Elder James Paramore, a member ofthe First Quorum of the Seventy of the LDS Church, will speak at a devotional Tuesday, Aug. 22, at 10:30 a.m. in the BYU Marriott Center. Elder Paramore's address, which is sponsored as a part of BYU Campus Education Week, is free and open to the public. It will not be broadcast on radio or television. Paramore was sustained as a member of the Quorum of the Seventy in 1977 after serving as Executive Secretary to the Council of the Twelve Apostles for seven years. He is president of the Utah North Area of the LDS Church and also managing director of the church's Audio VisualSatellite Department He has served the church in many capacities including being a missionary, a mission president, a bishop, a high councilor, a stake president and a regional representative.
