GOVERNOR CLYDE SIGNS OIL WEEK RESOLUTION Ont thing in the recent Special Session of the Utah Legislature received unanimous agreement Governor George P. Clyde signs Senate Concurrent Resolution 1, which was passed unanimously by both houses. The resolution recognizes 1959 as Oil Centennial Year in Utah, and pays tribute to the 8,000 Utahns employed in all phases of the petroleum industry. The period of September 14-21 was set aside as Utah Oil Centennial Week, commemorating the discovery of oil in Uintah County, Utah.
