State Road 756 5156 Wallace Somerville Social Studies Robin Baum Wallace Somerville is a new social studies teacher at Lehi High School but not to new to Lehi students. Prior to coming to Lehi High he taught at Lehi Junior High for one year. Before becoming a teacher in Alpine School District he was a criminalogist and worked for 21 years with the U.S. Courts in counseling, supervision and investigation. He received his B.S. degree from Dickinson State College in North Dakota and his MA from Forkham University. He has also studied at of Utah and BYU, University University of Alaska. He has lived in Lehi for the past 18 years and prior to that time lived in Moab, where he was born. He is married to the former Clara Hansen and they are the parents of eight children and 13 grandchildren. "I feel good teaching at Lehi High because I enjoy teaching," he said, noting that he doesn't have to teach if he didn't like it so well. "I enjoy the faculty here at Lehi High as much as I do the students," he said. Resource Aide Meet Robin Baum - or Miss Robin as her students know her. Mrs. Baum lives in Salt Lake City with her husband and two children, Dawn, 18 and Nick 14. Meet Dalene Collins - the new Resource teacher at Lehi High. Mrs. Collins lives in Lindon with her husband Paul and their two daughters. They have four Arabian Mrs. Baum is an aide in the Resource program and has been working for Alpine School District for the past five years. "I enjoy working with the Resource students at Lehi High and especially with mrs. Collins," Mrs. Baum stated. horses and a Chesapeake Bay retriever. "Our family enjoys sharing the horses during the summer months," she smiles, noting they just enjoy each others company. Mrs. Collins modeled a great deal in her younger years and had the opportunity to sit for the making of the sculpture "Woman" by Dennis Parker Chiropractic Research Foundation.
