Tickets for the party are $20 each and are available at the Symphony box office, at Deseret Book stores and at Basil's in Trolley Square. For ticket information call Beverly Hills Cop --starring Eddie Murphy, designed as a vehicle for Murphy and produced by Murphy. However if you don't like hearing a particular gutter word 50 to 60 times a movie, you might want to pass on this. Although for humor and fast act. tion, this movie is a Murphy is cast as a cop who achieves success through unorthodox and unauthorized methods. ' He's a headache and a boon to the departments he works with. And quite possibly he is an impossibility, bypassing procedure and legality to get his man. He is funny, cool, in the right place at the right time and able to carry off some crazy explanations. His supporting cast do an admirable job too. I particularly liked the character development of the slightly ineffective detective that saves the day when he has to. Most of the movie is meticulously done, usually to a rock beat that effectively carries the action and keeps the audience in rhythm with sell-ou- T I VM CINEM4S 120 Z E E. Main - American Fork 2 756 3181 rMA ONE CINEMA ONE ClNElj I found some situations slightly unbelievable but then I guess it is possible for a poorly dressed black man to just walk into the poshest hotel on Rodeo Drive and convince them to give him a suite without a credit card or a penny cash - if it's your movie. I suppose the major drug smuggler in Los Angeles might let this spunky little negro cop walk right into his main warehouse and check out the goods. I suppose it is just plausible that the guy who has outsmarted the law without a blemish on his record for twenty years would hang around in his poorly tended mansion long enough to take a pot shot at Murphy and end up getting dead over it. I can deal in imagery. But hey, I don't want to give the wrong impression. If you look at this movie strictly for laughs and as a vehicle for Murphy's talent at putting a guy on you'll enjoy it. I laughed a lot, winced once or twice. Wouldn't send my kids to it because of the poor choice in language, but I recommend it for adults that feel like a funny one.
