According to Margo Fugal, placement coordinator, they need people who can give time in the to help following categories: distribute information materials such as brochures and pamphlets to schools, doctors offices, other organizations and agencies who may deal with families having developmentally disabled children or adults; to type reports: to work in booths at the Mall Volunteer Fair; to help with handcrafted items to be sold at the annual bazaar as well as other duties connection with the bazaar November. What is Respite Care? It is a program organized in llah County in 1981 to serve developmentally disabled persons especially in times of crises and emergencies, such as during illness, hospitalization, moving, etc. According to officials, there are two primary objectives: First to provide high quality 24 hour care when necessary in a home with trained provider at all times.
