Ashby originated the idea while as a shoe working part-tim- e salesman and meeting some of the youngsters. He was surprised at how many were avid Cougar fans and could name many of the players and even rattle off some statistics about them. "We hope these experiences will be excellent learning lessons for the boys," Ashby said. "When they see how much work is involved in accomplishing a goal and attend a game to see that goal materialize, this should become a positive experience for them." The experimental program is being called "Saturday Sharelove Spectacular." Both men and women students at BYU may serve as hosts in the program, which will end with the football season.
