Most of the investment is paid for with borrowed money. Even though home prices have risen several notches each year, a mortgage loan is teh only way the average consumer can borrow long-termoney. This, then, is your big chance to turn inflation to your advantage. e Your mortgage gives you dollars to work with today. You then full-pric- pay them back with cheaper dollars you will be earning for the next 20 to 30 years. On top of that, if your home increases in value by a very conservative 6 per year, it will double its value every 12 years. This isn't a cynical approach. It's realistic. In fact, it's one of the main reasons why many wealthy individuals continue to make big teal estate investments. And you caodo the same with a home that you own and need anyway.
