August U. 1981- - Page B-- 2 a County Rodeo 0 1 - 19 Girls Seek Queen Title Ay w- An orientation meeting was held on Tues., Aug. 4 for the girls entered in the 1981-8- 2 county fair and rodeo queen contest. According to rodeo queen - CONTESTANT- S- Debi Garrett. Alpine; Beth Meil. American Fork, lee Ann PMIL' Aug. awards Center. All seniors wishing to attend the dinner should contact their local senior centers for reservations and meal tickets. The cost of the ticket is 75 cents; this is for the dinner. All other activities are at no charge. Reservations for dinner should be in by August 14. The dinner program will begin at 11:30 a.m. Musical entertainment will be furnished by the 13-1- 5 Blouses and Skirts popular off Socks and Jewelry 25 Clearance of Summer Items Half- Off and trophies will be on the agenda. The festivities will begin with a barbecued chicken dinner served at the Spanish Fork Senior off all 20 Winther, chairman, special programs along with Funtastics. Trophies to seniors will also be awarded - the oldest man and woman present, the couple married the longest and the senior visiting from the longest distance. Other prizes will be given during the dinner hour. 1 ollowing the noon activities, seniors are invited to see the program at the big top at the fair. The Stuntmen's Utah Association, host to this first annual event, were hoping to attract 30 of the best in the western states. The horsemanship portion of the contest will be held Aug. 21 at 11 a.m. in the Spanish Fork arena, the public is welcome here as well. The queen, two attendants, two alternates and other awards will be announced at the rodeo on Aug. 22. The winners will represent Utah County next summer.
