The concert will begin at 6 p.m. in the school gymnasium and everyone is asked to be in their seats by 5:55 p.m. There will be no charge and the public and parents are invited. CONCERT-Mem- Junior High Slates Band Concert The Lehi Junior High School Band will present a concert this evening, Thursday, Dec. 11, it was reported by James Gray, principal. The concert will be held in the school gym, beginning at 6 p.m. There will be no charge. Parents and the public are invited to enjoy this special concert, which will feature flag and rifle presentations, as well as instrumental numbers. All instrumental numbers will be under the direction of Richard Devey, music director for the school. Included in the concert will be a Brass Choir, with guest artists Elaine Southey and Matt Harding, trumpet; Tyler Thompson, french horn; Stephen Shippen, trombone and Richard Devey, bass. A marching exhibition will be 9f 71 presented by the eighth grade band, together with the flag and rifle corps. Many of the flag and rifle maneuvers have been designed by the students. Also featured will be the seventh grade chorus, under the direction of Paula Knudson. This group will sing several Christms songs. The seventh grade band will mix traditional Christms music with familiar marches and popular tunes. The Stage Band will also perform several numbers. The first of its kind in Central Utah.
