Show COOLING TIMES - SEPTEMBER 15, 1996 - 7 CHANDRA PAEI'SCH BLM FENCE REMOVED AT FRONT GATE JANIE TUFT - SALES AGENT/OWNER The old wooden rail fence by the mailboxes was recently removed by the BLM. The removal was part of the “Beautify America” and Utah Centennial programs. A more important reason for removal was that the BLM has just completed a major survey in the area, and the fence was not even close to the boundary between the BLM land and the Town. There actually is about 20 acres of BLM land in a triangle around the mailbox area that could be available to the Town if certain requirements and a minimal investment were made. The BLM has also requested that Paradise Real Estate 47 E. CENTER STREET - MOAB, UT 84532 801-259‘2650 - FAX 801-259-2699. This line is about 50100 ft. inside the present entrance gate. The BLM is willing to help the Town move the poles if that is what the Town wants to do. The BLM told residents that they could take the old posts and rails if they could use them. Otherwise the posts and rails will be burned. For the best rest out west.
