Show ANOTHER TIMES . SEPTEMBER 1992 - 5 L E T T E R S totheTimes Blessings from the Air A few years ago I spent some time in a country where the only safe mode of transportation was by helicopter. For this reason I had occasion to ride in helicopters every day for a full year. One of the jobs I currently do requires that I ride about in helicopters from time to time. It still gives me a thrill, crew would also spruce up the site, and often one could not tell where it had been. And after this last rain I doubt that 10% of the drilling sites could be located. As oil and gas exploration must continue, it is nice to know that there are companies who feel a burden to be as environmentally conscious as possible. —Dean Bell, Farm Manager and I never cease to marvel at the Castle Valley Academy ingenuity of man. Ever wonder what it would be like to ride in a helicopter, or to see this valley from the air? MORE IDEAS: You and your child may want to make up different activi- ties Such as: * Hold a week’s contest to find the most expensive word. * Use penny values instead of dollars. * Find the difference between your first and last names. * Multiply the values instead of adding them. * Use fractional values, LIZAR [)3 so that A=1/26, B=2/‘26, L izards are reptiles etc. I 've seen them small and big 2 A R D the past weeks, but it was owned and operated by friends of ours, and my family and others were treated to a very special ride. As seen from the top of Parriot, this valley is pretty. However, as one is able to see this valley from above Castle Rock and Round Mountain and Pace Hill and Porcupine Ridge, one can see that God has really blessed this valley. We were also blessed by a demonstration of some of the most precise S ome don't, but always remember this hinter hora Numbers Games Playing with numbers can be lots of fun for the entire family. There are cards, dice, dominoes, and just plain numbers to fiddle with. The following is one of many games I’d like to share have flown with many helicopter pilots, but never have I seen precision to the extent practiced by this helicopter drilling crew. I was fortunate to be able to spend a full day working with this with you. —Anne Benge VALUE OF WORDS WHY: To practice mental arithmetic and estimation while problem solving. HOW: * Assign values to the letters of the alphabet, as follows: A=$1; B=$2; C=$3- to Z=$26. * Have each person in the family crew and was literally amazed at how plant growth. My mother and I were made to believe that you would exclude them. but there they were, bright and clear in the Times Independent. That is a lot like lying! I am extremely mad about that and that is part of the reason I want to have seven county commissioners instead of three. Bob Greenberg also suggested that this zone should have a minimum of five acre lots. Now that you could have a motel on every acre, you could put hundreds of motels on the peach orchard. I do not want that to happen! * What is the most expensive word each of you can find. pWWW JANIETUFT . SALES AGENT PO. Box 112] Moob, Ut 84532 RES. 801-259-8360 .
