Paul Hardman of Lehi will be the instructor. Hardman has taught auto mechanics at Utah Tech for 10 years and owned an auto parts store in Lehi for five. The course will be a day class, starting Sept. 24 with the beginning of the quarter. Hardman said a student will pursue it four to six hours a day for three quarters. Work experience will count toward which point a student must start, and when he or she can finish. Students with previous experience in this field will probably finish in a shorter time than the designated three quarters. - Anyone interested in taking the course should contact Hardman at his office on the Orem campus, or Grant Cook, college registrar on the Provo campus. The prospective student may register for the course on the regular three days preceding the start of the fall quarter, but it would be wise to consult Mr. Hardman or Mr. Cook immediately if interested. The class will train students to work as clerks in auto parts stores, or engage in wholesale selling to auto parts retailers.
