Show This year the Scout-O-Rawill be held on May 5, from 4 p.m. at the Lehi High School. The theme is "Wonderful World of Scouting." Our purpose, 1. To show our friends and neighbors what scouting is all about. 2. Earn money for the boy, scouting. - 3. Display skills known and learn new skills from others. We encourage each ward to enter their pack, troop and post for a booth. Applications for booths display should be in by April 18. Booths will be judged and prizes awarded for 1st unit and f 7.Z nTrir 10-4-0 and 2nd in Cubbing, Blazers, Scouts and and a grand prize for top Venturer-Explorer- s, booth of the show. Tickets will be on sale starting Thursday, April 12. Part of the ticket price goes to the unit selling them and the boys selling the tickets receive prizes Oil the lives." In the junior league (Beehives) the 13th Ward captured first place and the Second Ward came in the runner up. The season will conclude with the First Ward playing in a regional tournament on April 19th and 20th in the North Stake Center. Game times will be announced next week. Mens BasketbaU In the regional tournament held last week in American Fork, the Lehi Stake teams were very successful. Although the seniors second place winners, the Ninth Ward, lost their first two games, and were eliminated, both games were close and exciting. The Tenth Ward seniors, who were seeded and were not required to play the first round, came through strong to win the tournament from the North Stake's 11th Ward and now enters the tournament at BYU next week. They lost that game to American Fork Second Ward Although losing the consolation game, they captured the valuable Sportsmanship trophy and an automatic entry in next year's tournament. The Ninth Ward also won the stake Sportsmanship award. Roadshows Schedule on vour calendar April 24th and 25th for the stake Young Women'sYoung Men's Roadshows.
