Show Ron Dartholemew is Speech, (SIradie ROIL CALL Drama Sterling Scholar Ron Bartholomew, son of Mr. and Mrs. Errol Bartholomew, and a senior at the Lehi High School, has been named the Sterling Scholar nominee in speech and drama. Ron has been involved in speech and drama since his junior high school days. He played the lead roles in both his seventh and eighth grade plays and since then has portrayed various roles in both school and community productions. Some of these have included "The Title of Liberty", "The Mouse that Roared", "The Robe," "Flowers for Algernon" and he will be seen in the forthcoming presentation of "Brigadoon." Ron arranged and presented last year which a mono-ac- t won him first place in region competition and an Excellent rating on a state level. He was also awarded the Best Actor award for his performance in his ward roadshow last year. He is currently serving as studentbody president of the Lehi High School and is involved in many school activities. He is a member of the Lehi High chapter of the National Honor Society, the teams track and and the Thespian Club. He enjoys speaking, acting and performing before people. He plays lead alto saxaphone in the stage band and was selected Outstanding Band Student of the month by the Lehi Band-Ai- d Society. Ron is active in the IDS Church and currently is serving in his priest quorum as an assistant to the bishop. He cross-countr- y FIRST GIRL A darling dimply baby girl was born to Craig and Ann Roberts on January 27th in the Utah Valley Hospital. The sweet little miss tipped the scales at a dainty six pounds 15 ounces and measured just 20 inches in height. She will be named Kami Brook. One brother, Russell, delightedly welcomed his new sister home. Doting grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Reed Roberts, Lehi; great grandfather Roy Worley, Lehi and Mr. and Mrs. James Eckersley of Murray. She was recently named runner-u- p in a Century III Leadership contest. She has earned a 3.94 G.P.A. She has also served on the committee. She is active in the LDS Church and is serving as March-of-Dim- WW es LINDA LUND Sunday School chorister, junior Primary chorister and ? momber of the North Stake Girls Choir. She is also a member of the Seminary Executive Council. She has served as junior Sunday School chorister and organist and as president of her MIA classes. She served as floorshow chairman for her ward and has held various positions in Seminary. Her hobbies include singing, dancing, bowling, sewing, cooking and playing the piano. She also enjoys working with children. Future plans include enrolling at LDS Business College to pursue a career as an administrative assistant. National Corn Growers Association Award.
