Ernest Glen Rutledge, 49, of Bellevue, former resident of Lehi, died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 1975 in the Veterans Hospital in Seattle of an extended illness. He was born November 8, 1925 in American Fork, a son of Ernest L. and Zola Gray Rutledge. He married JoAnn C. Cannon on Feb. 19. 1949 in Salt Lake City. He was graduated from Lehi High School in 1944 and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Mr. Rutledge graduated from Montana State University in Engineering. Until he became ill, he was employed Boeing Aircraft. He was a member of the LDS Church. Survivors include his widow; three sons and two daughters, Mrs. Michael (Glenda) Hubbard, Seattle; Ernest "Skip", Gregg, Lisa and Steven Rutledge, all of Bellevue; one grandchild; his mother, Lehi; one brother and one sister, Don Rutledge, Pleasant Grove, and Mrs. Clyde (Lela) Averett, Springville. Funeral services were held Saturday, October 18 at 2:30 p.m. at Bellevue. Pre-Nat- Classes al ' Funeral services for Valerie Ann Dahl were held last Thursday, October 16 at 2 p.m. in the Wing Mortuary Chapel. Bishop C. J. Lindquist of the Lehi Sixth Ward officiated. Mrs. Dahl died October 12. Ruth Ann Larson played the prelude and postlude music and the prayer with family members was spoken by Berl Peterson. Scott Evans offered the invocation. A ladies trio with Verda Searle, Carole Zimmerman and Donna Norman sang the hymn ' He". They were accompanied by Ruth Ann Larson. Speakers were Bishop C.J. Lindquist and Delbert Curtis. Guy and Mary Ellen Cash sang the vocal duel "Old Rugged Cross". Mrs. Larson was the accompanist. The benediction was offered by Melody Evans. Hunter, Former Lehian, Dies at Provo Alvera Thomas Hunter, 81, of North 440 West Provo, died Oct. 18 in the Utah Vally Hospital after a short illness. She was born April 25, 1894 in Lehi, a daughter of William Thomas and Harriet Barnes Thomas. She married E. John Hunter on Oct. 11, 1916 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Pre-natclasses will begin at the American Fork Hospital on Tuesday, November 4, and will continue through December 9, al form 7:00 until 9:00 P.M.
