Shatter started the scoring for A. F. in the first inning, but Lehi came back with three runs in the second. Welch and Carlton walked, Roseman hit a double to drive in Welch, Carter got a base hit to score Carlton and Roseman. The Colts scored a run in the second on a walk by Jones and a double by Christen. In the fifth inning Lehi added four more runs. Carter got a base hit, Price, Kirkham and Fowler walked to walk one run ine, Kirkham scored on a wild pitch and then Yates drove in Fowler and Colledge on his base hit. Base hits were by Kirkham, Fowler, and Colledge. Triple by Rob Yates. Pedersen and Jones were the pitchers for the Colts allowing two hits each. Roseman was the pitcher for Lehi, also giving up four hits in the game. On Thursday, July 22, Lehi and the Colts had a rematch with All-Sta- 1 base in the seventh and Kirkham walked. Carter scored on a wild pitch, Jim Fowler got on base on an error and drove in Price, Kirkham scored on an overthrow and Colledge scored on Welch's doable to tally four more runs. A. F. added their last run in the seventh inning on base hits by Pederson and Jones. Pederson was the pitcher for the Colts allowing six hits and Kirkham was the winning pitcher for Lehi giving up twelve hits. Gary Carlton looked sharp on second base. In the second Inning he threw to Yates on first base for out number one, took a throw from Welch to pick-o- ff the second out and fielded the ball and threw to Fowler on third base for the final out. In the fifth inning he threw to Welch at home to pick on the lead runner in a scoring attempt. Roseman looked good at shortstop with seven assists and one caught fly. In the fourth inning after A.
