Show THE Ordar of Ihe Arrow Hosts Monthly Sccat Court of Honor at Stake Center The July Court of Honor, held at the Stake Center was hosted and under the direction of the Order of the Arrow. The opening prayer was offered by Duane Wafflnden and the opening song was Scouting Spirit. District officers included Gammon, Alvin Broadbent, Ken Cardon, Roy Littleford, and Darrell Tingey. Mr. Payne of the Utah National Parks Council was present and awards were made by Mr. Beck, who used a tableu in the presentation. The tableau included the Dale Walker family. Eagle Awards were presented to Paul Bean of Troop Eight and to Brian Smith of Troop Four. Troop Five took honors with Troop 110 second and third place was Troop Eight. Troop 1 Rank Advancements; Alan Peet, Robert Gray, Heeth Harr, Second Class, John Harr, First class. Troop 2 The troop camped six days and five nights. They helped with two Eagle Prospects for their good turn. There are 15 boys registered in the troop. Rand Advancements: Gail Keele, Star; Scout Life Guard, David Shaw; mile swim, five out of eight boys. Merit Badges earned: 33 badges as follows: Howard Cooper, Conservation, Nature and Cooking; Mont Christof-fersoHome Repairs, Leather-worFishing. Kent Eddington, swimming and nature; Randy Conservation, nature, , Ferguson, medal work. John Fowler, cooking and camping; NeilGiles, Animal Industry, Nature; Bert Gray, camping, cooking and nature; Gail Keele, swimming, cooking and camping. Kevin Russon, animal industry, gardening, pioneering. Kenneth Shaw, nature. Kurt Zimmerman, cooking, camping, and nature. Kevin Ferguson, swimming and lifesaving. Larry Ferguson, lifesaving; Ricky Pugh, camping and Steve Pugh, cookLe-R- oy n, k, ing. Troop 3 Twenty six scouts registered. David Tingey, The Double Silver Palm. Merit Bad ges were presented to the following: Brad Kunz, swimming; David Tingey, sculpture, Coin collecting, auto safety. Randy Tingey, safety, first aid, drafting. Troop 4 Two days were spent camping and 20 scouts are registered in the troop. There werei four rank advancements; Brian Smith, Eagle; Merlin Limb, Gold Palm, Alan Erickson, Star; and Hert Davis, First Class. Merit Badges were earned by Alan Erickson, Basketry and cooking; Mike Robinson, basketry and per sonal fitness; Kay Johnson, basketry; Dale Sorenson, Clayton Roberts, Lyle Doyle, Merlin Limb and Jeff Covington all basketry, and Brian Squire, public health. Six days and five Troop 5 nights were spent camping. The boys mowed and raked neighbor's lawn for their good turn. There are 15 registered scouts in the troop. Rank Advancements were: Blaine Comer, Carey West, Ryan Davis, Arnold Hunt, Larry Jenkins all earned a Star advancement; David Haws, Reed Powell, Bruce Pulham and Larry Woffinden, received life advancements.
