Carlson To Observe 80th Birthday MRS. SAMUEL H. UNGR1CHT . . . Carl B. Carlson of Pleasant Grove, will reach his 80th milestone on Thursday, Dec. 17. He will be honored at an open house, Sunday, Dec. 20, at the home of a son, Ray Carlson, of Pleasant Grove. Friends and relatives are cordially invited to call during the hours of 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday. The family requests that no gifts be presented. Mr. Carlson was born Dec. 17, 1890, in Sweden, a son of MRS AUDREY PRICE Peter and Augusta Larsen Carlof Mrs. W.P. (Mable) Jones of son. He came to America at the time Public Health age of 14 years and has lived in Lehi, (Linda Carter) Miss Linda Carter Marries Samuel H. Ungricht in Nevada Mr. and Mrs. J.J. Carter of Lehi are announcing the marriage of their daughter Linda, to Samuel H. Ungricht, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Ungricht of Or em. The ceremony took place on Friday, Dec. 11, at Elko, Nevada. The couple was accompanied on the trip by Miss Diane Colledge, solo attendant for the bride. bridal tea will honor the new Mrs. Ungricht on Friday, Dec. 18, in the Lehi First Ward church with receiving from 8 to 10. The installation took place in connection with the Christmas party, held at the Holiday Inn, Red Slipper Room. A delicious dinner was served, followed by a delightful program by the"Hap-p- y Timers," a group of 26 young children, ages six to 12 years. A specially prepared Christmas program included group singing, solos, duets, trios and several readings. LPN meetings are held the fourth Thursday of each month All at Utah VaUey Hospital. LPN's are cordially invited to in the Girls Athletic Association and Biology Club. She graduated from the three year course in LDS Seminary, and was also a member of the school band. She was formerly employed with her father in Carter's Service Station and at the present time at the Longhorn Cafe in Lindon. Mr. Ungricht attended the Spanish Fork High School. He enlisted for a two year tour of duty in the U.S. Navy and later served in the U.S. Army, overseas in Viet Nam. He is now employed as a truck driver with a concern in Bountiful, Utah. The couple are making their home in Provo. Pleasant Grove since 1915. He was married to Alice Geneva Fullmer. She died in August 1946. He married Lottie Gates in 1951. engaged in farming and fruit growing for many years. He worked with the Fugal Brothers for 35 years. He is an active member of the LDS He . . . He takes a particular interest in his large family which now includes 33 grandchildren and 47 great -- grand children.
