Each contestant arrived at the show with their model's hair in rollers. As the contest began, the rollers were removed and each contestant was then given 45 minutes to complete the comb out and styling. At the end of the alloted time, the stylist walked away from the model,' giving no indication of who was competing in the styling contest. The judges then entered the room , the models were introduced and the parade of styles presented. The soft mood, the natural feminine look, was emphasized in all the styles shown. This occasion marked the first time the public was invited to witness the styling contest. Previously, this part of National Beauty Salon Week has been limited to paid-u- p members of the affiliate only. The Alpine Country Coub'was the scene of the styling contest and show arranged by Rosalee Madsen, Affiliate One president, and her officers as a special observance of National Beauty Salon Week. Jean Trinnaman easily handled the part of Mrs. Schmaltz, the fun- - comedy presented by the Lehi High School last Thursday and Friday, proved to be a delightful experience for all who saw it. Even though the crowd both evenings was relatively small, the cast presented outstanding performances and delighted those present. The comedy provided many punch lines, and the audience was kept laughing throughout.
