Marriage vows were spoken in the presence of close family members at the home of the bride, with Bishop Dean T. Worlton officiating, on Thursday, August 15. For the occasion, the dainty young bride chose a floor length model with long sleeves and scalloped lace neckline. A pearlized tiara supported the flowing, full length veil which was with floral motifs. A large orchid, with rosebuds and lily of the valley composed the bridal bouquet. Her sole attendant was her sister Sharon, Mrs. Lin de Paula, attired in raspberry pink, she held pale pink roses. Keith Lassen performed the duties of best man for his brother. The mother of the bride wore a two piece ensemble of pink, while Mrs. Lassen, senior, chose pink lace. Their corsages were pink rosebuds. The color theme of raspberry pink with pastel pink was followed throughout, enhanced by arrangements of chrysanthemums and gladioli. The three tiered wedding cake, prepared by the Lehi Bakery, was decorated in lattice design in all white, and topped by wedding bells. It was displayed on a large mirror. Serving tables were centered by floating bowls with pink florets.
