According to Mike Southwick, captain of the Lehi Fire Department, the fire was observed from the Lehi Veterans Ball-par- k, where the fireworks were being set off, Saturday night at 10 p.m. The small blaze grew and spread rapidly as they sped to the scene. Guardsmen at Camp Williams observed that someone had apparently been setting off rockets on the mountainside, which could have caused the fire. Dean Klrkham, assistant fire chief, directed the activities at the lower level, while Captain Southwick and a crew of 10 were on the slope. Deputy Klrkham was at the ballpark representing the sheriffs department for traffic control. 768-254- VJEAR w SAVE 172 West Main Phone 84043. - BLOUSES MEN'S AIID BOYS' THE LEHI FREE PRESS 32 West Main Street, Lehi, Utah Second Class Postage Paid at Lehi Post Office, Lehi, Utah ... $2.09 5Q creeks are Mr. and Mrs. D.
