To Orem Tigers Announcing . . . The Lehi Pioneers were handed their second defeat last week at the hands of the Orem Tigers. The Orem team, fourth ranked in the state, remains undefeated in the Northern Division of Region 4 play. The undaunted Pioneers bowed to the more powerful team by a 24-margin. The local boys were trailing near the end of the third quarter, when, sparked by a number of reserves, they slammed back to amaze the crowd with a couple of touchdowns in the fourth quarter. Allen Hadfield scored both of the TD's - one on a two-yasmash and the other on a spiritrd ed gallop. Even though they lost, the local team showed plenty of spark. Dennis Whimpey was all over the field making tackle after tackle. Bob Worl-to- n was also a tower of strength on defense and Stan Lewis and Jay Hardman both ran with authority early in the game with Hadfield doing the same later. Hardman also boomed punts that came off his boot like rockets. The Lehi ground game was just unable to cope with the big and tough Orem linemen, they were also hurt by fumbles and intercepted passes early in the game. This week's game will be at Springville. Game time will be 2:30 p.m. and parents and Lehi fans are invited. THE OPENING OF DARRELL'S COLLEGE OF BEAUTY .'Beest 13 This Week's Schedule Thursday, Oct.
