Club members entertained the prospective girl graduates of the Lehi High School, their mothers and also the mothers of club members. Mrs. J. Keith Melville, her family of eleven children, and some of her students provided a lovely musical program, presenting the music and story of The King and I." The welcome speech was given by Mrs. LaVar Bateman, club. president. Mrs. Don Fowler presented the toast to the girls, with the response and toast to the mothers by her daughter, Jane, one of the high school seniors. They appeared in two parades while Ada Whipple, secretary. Incoming officers are Josephine Robison, president; Lela Lott, and Beth Young, there. Paul J. Halversen, director, said that he was very proud of them and the way they performed. "They represented the school and the community very well." The trip was made without incident and everyone enjoyed them- selves. While in Las Vegas, the group toured Hoover Dam, swam in Lake Mead, attended the Hell-doraDays rodeo and went shopping. They were welcomed by members of the LDS Church there and stayed In two of the meetinghouses. Relief Societies prepared and served meals for them while they were there.
