Mayor Sw enson pointed out that the procedure as set up in the contract and agreed to, would have to be followed and no payment could be made until the engineer had submitted an estimate of payment. This would be done at the first of each month. Mayor Swenson also reported to Mr. Evans that the request for additional money on the drilling of the highway area would be held up until the project is finished, and then would be considered. It was agreed by the council to pay the first partial payment estimate as prepared by the engineer, a total of $933.43. DOCTOR'S OFFICE Dr. Elmo Eddington was present to discuss his moving to Lehi and practicing medicine. He discussed the Orlin Wathen property and his desire to purchase his home and put an office in the large building on the property. The zoning of the area was discussed and the off street parking for such an office was considered. Dr. Eddington was instructed to begin a request for zone change, if he so desired. Dr. Eddington also discussed the Improvement District No. 66-- B and its effect on his property on Ninth North. He pointed out his possible development of the property and the location of homes able to make use of the sewer stubs as planned in the district. It was pointed out that solutions to such problems as discussed would be handled by a Board of Equalization appointed to consider such matter sunder B. Councilman Innes discussed the addition of a wing to the library and the need for a detailed plan prepared by an architect. It was decided to arrange a meeting with the City Council, the Library Board and a representative of the State Library Board to consider the possibility of federal aid.
