A lavish dinner was served and gifts were exchanged. Santa Claus, with Mrs. Santa Claus, came and distributed gifts to every child. A program of family talent included William Ray Shaw and children with a Christmas song; Sharon Shaw and David Shaw, who played piano and clarinet. Marty and Hal Bennett played piano selections and Vida Ben nett led in group singing. Mrs. Marvin Ashton entertained with her accordlan. The school consists of two separate buildings, one for the academic classrooms, the lunch center, auditoriums, gymnasiums and the administrative offices. The second building bouses the industrial arts center. Built to accomodate 750 students, the school will provide adequate space for several years. Principal Price is quick to praise the teaching staff at the school, stating that they are all willing to go "The extra mile" to assist a student. He said they are continuously upgrading their teaching by taking advanced study and that they wholeheartedly support all school functions.
