She formerly operated a loom, making woven rugs, but has discontinued this activity during recent years. She continues as a Relief Society visiting teacher, holding a record of more than 40 years. She was honored at the DUP meeting and also in Relief Society, with gifts of flowers. A group of friends bought a birthday cake and refreshments to her home, and she received many cards and remembrances. One ofc the most prized of these is a poem written for the occasion by her sister, Mrs. Rachel Wanlass of Monroe. hlKS. ELIZA CRABB Mrs. Eliza Crabb Reaches 85th Milestone Continuing very active and interested in community and family events, Mrs. Eliza Kirkham Crabb reached her 85th birthday, March 19. She maintains a pleasant home and continues to attend church services, meetings of the Bluebell Camp, Daughters of Utah Pioneers, and community affairs. Calif. With them came their son. Mr. and Mrs. Brian Farnsworth and two children. A family gathering was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Don Fowler. Included besides the Austins and the California visitors were Mr. and Mrs. DeVere Fowler, Mr. and Mrs. Kent Fowler and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne (Jetta) Allred and their families. Reaches 78 Years Mrs. Crabb was born in Lehi, March 19, 1878, a daughter of George and Mary Russon Kirkham. She was married to Charles Crabb, March 11, 1J95, in the Salt Lake Temple. Mr. Crabb passed away in 1955. A long time employee and executive of the Utah-Idah- o Sugar Company, he was aided by his wife in his many as- in 1957. signments. Her children include Mrs. Or-ri- n si (Donna) Winget of Salt Lake City; William Crabb, sugar factory superintendent at Toppenish, Wash.; Major Kirkham Crabb, who is serving with the air force in the Washington, D. C. area, and Craig Crabb, now in the air force reserve in Texas. Three sons Leland, Glendon and Lowell, have passed away.
