Days of '47 horse parade. The giant parade, which took the route from Seventh South up Main Street in Salt Lake City, included 65 clubs, with 1200 horses. The Roughout Riders' chuck-wago- n led the club, followed by the riders, dressed in red and white uniforms, saddle blankets with red and white trim and red and white satin flags provided a colorful effect There were 25 club members participating. Royle and daughter, Diane, of American Fork, on an enjoyable trip to the Flaming Gorge Dam, Monday. They viewed construction operations through a special telescope provided for that purpose. A tour of the dinosaur museum at Vernal was also included. Driving into Wyoming, they visited at the cattle raising area in Lucerne Valley. The return trip was made through Emigration Canyon.
