Three Lehi Scouts Attain Eaglie Rank at Court of Honor Three Lehi Scouts were awarded their Eagle badges at the court of honor this month. They include Alan A. Gardner 13, son of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Gardner, Troop 3; Michael Cooper, 14, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Cooper, and John Gray, 13, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Gray, Troop 2. All three are In the eighth grade in school and all three sing in the chorus and play in the band. All three especially enjoy physical education fit school. John J. Gray John J. Gray makes a hobby of assembling model cars for his collection. He likes archery and fishing, often going hunting with his father and other family members. Swimming is another favorite sport He played on the bantam basketball league. A patrol leader in scouting, he is a den chief in cub scouting. He is president of his Deacon's quorum and has attained his individual awards the past two years. Alan A. Gardner Alan A. Gardner formerly lived in Heber City, where he was a charter member of the cub scouts in Wasatch County. His den of four boys were the first boys to become Webelos scouts in the county. He has served as a junior and senior patrol leader in Troop 3, of the Third Ward and is also den chief of the cub scouts in the Third Ward. He is secretary of his Deacon's quorum. He loves sports of all kinds and was a member of the Braves Little League baseball team for the past two years in Lehi. He was also on a Little League team for two years in Heber, and on the Farmers' basketball team there. He has also played Junior Softball and basketball the past season. He likes to put model cars together, ride bicycles, read and watch all kinds of sports. He has handled a paper route for the past two years. He was a member of the swimming team from American Fork and com The 450 voice Primary teachers' chorus from Utah County, which includes 30 from Lehi Stake, has been requested to sing at the opening session of General Conference, by President David O. McKay. These sessions will take place April 6 in the Salt Lake Tabernacle.
