Sherilyn Russon, Edwin Adamson Jack Wilkinson of Fairfield Marries Lindon Girl in Temple Ceremony 11 Married in Temple Ceremony Of interest to a wide circle of friends comes the announcement of the wedding of Miss Sherilyn (Sherry) Russon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Warren M. Russon, to Edwin V. (Ted) Adamson of American Fork. Mr. Adamson is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil M. Adamson. Vows were spoken Friday, Sept. 11, in the Salt Lake Temple where President EIRay 1u Christiansen officiated. A wedding breakfast folllowed, hosted by the parents of the bridegroom. The Fourth Ward church was the scene of the reception which feted the newlyweds that same evening. Salmon - pink, white and silver were used as a color scheme, . with baskets and arrangements of gladioli and carnations placed throughout in decoration. The double wedding ring motif was adapted to the "archway "background and the tiered caks, displayed on ruffled nylon. The bride was lovely in a gown of silk bombazine over taffeta, trimmed with lace, continued in a cascade over the skirt. A lace yoke and short sleeves were attractive details. The illusion veil fell to elbow length from a tiara of pearls and bouquet sequins. The was of stephanotis centered by a large, orchid. Attending as maid of honor was Miss Renae Russon with Mrs. William Jacobs, Mrs. Jay Manning, Mrs. Andrew. Shelton, Miss Donna Webb, Joyce Ann Jones and Kaye Smith. Attired in identical models 'of salmon pink lace over taffeta, they held gladioli "bouquets in silver wedding rings. Small flower. girs,. Irene Edding-toand Janie Gardner, wore "bouffant frocks of loce and taffeta with matching bouquets and were escorted by Master Kevin Ray Ttusson, nephew of the bride. The bride's mother was attired in dusty pink linen and lace, while Mrs. Gardner, senior, chose "blue lace over taffeta. Their corsages were pink gardenias. . Miss Sandra Peterson cared for g the guest book. Organ music the receiving was played by Alva H. Wing. Best man's duties were performed by Kenneth Gardner and ushers were Norman Jones and Ronald Carroll. At the door were Mr. and Mrs. Don Whimpey and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Adamson. Mr. and Mrs. Dee Ray Russon performed the duties of host and hostess. Serving tables followed the wedding ring idea with,;, pink . carnations an4 silver ribbons. , In charge of gifts were Jolene ings, Phyllis Hayes and Jennell Adamson. Assisting were Ela.ine Whimpey, Lynett and Robyn Hutchmgs. Serving were Lynett Peterson, Shirley Skinner, Rob Mix.- H - n a chrysanthemums with fern and roses formed an attractive background for the wedding party. The bride was attired in a gown of white lace over taffeta with chystalette ruffles, her own design. Her sheer veil floated to elbow length from a pearlized coronet. Her bouquet was composed of shattered carnations and a white orchid center. 1 Clubs Hake Good Rating at County Exhibit Lehi clubs made a fine showing at the Utah County exhibit and are being well represented at the Utah State Fair, it is reported by Lucille Ingram, acting community chairman. The five members of the Club all placed entries in the county display and the club is being represented in modeling and individual exhibits at the State Fair. Directors are Hazel Hakes and Klea Ernst. The Happy Hoers Club, directed by Ruth Bahr won five blue ribbons for the 11 members and will place garden vegetables in the fair. First prizes were won by Martin Johnson, Beverly Wilson, Rohn McKee, Glen DeSpain and Sheila Dansie. In the Red Buttons club, directed by Raima Bennett, three blue ribbons were taken by the six members. The Meri Bakers, directed by Lucille Ingram, have followed both sewing and foods projects. With 11 members in the Foods organization, 7 blue ribbons were awarded. Lucinda- - Ingram will present a foods demonstration at the fair. Canned fruits and vegetables were displayed. In the clothing group all eight members will take part at the fair, including Lucinda Ingram, Kathleen Smith, Kathleen Holmstead, Kathryn Zupan, Paula Julian, Shaunna Seager, Linda Nelson and Christine Roberts. In the Kitchen Queens club, directed by Betty Powell and Ruth Wilcox, the 8 members took 8 blue ribbons. LaRae Powell will exhibit at the fair. In the Modern Skillful Girls club, direrted by Marie Richins, 7 blue ribbons were awarded. Norma Clark will exhibit at the fair. The BusyBees are directed by JoAnn Bean, Carol Verla DeMine. The 12 members McKinney, Ann Zimmerman, Dianna Lloyd, took 9 blue ribbons. Deanna Crabb La Rae Eddington, Madge Hutch- - will place an exhibit at the fair.
