She enjoyed, the Labor Day Homecoming celebration held there. Horse racing was a main attraction. Overnight guests at the home of Mrs. Nina Herron were Mr. and Mrs. Martin Verhoven of Los Angeles, Calif. A niece and nephew of Mrs. Herron, they visited in Tooele with Charles Felt, father of Mrs. Verhoven, and in, Ibapah with Mrs. Blanche West and Mrs. Chloe Parrish, aunts. Mr. and Mrs. Heber Paulson of Boulder, Utah visited in Lehi with Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Morgan, and in Salt Lake City and Layton with family members. Mrs. Don R. Coombs of Spanish Fork, was a visitor here at the home of her mother, Mrs. Clara Clover. Mrs. Clover and son Richard accompanied her for a visit with the family in Spanish Fork. Mrs. Cecil Johnson of Magna, visited here last Thursday, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Smith spent Mrs. James C. Gough. Mrs. Arave will be remembered as the former June Sunderland. : COLLEDGE GBOUP TAKES v HOLIDAY, TOCB OF INDIAN RUINS Mr. and Mrs. Lee Colledge and their son and daughter-in-laMr. and Mrs. Evan L. Colledge enjoyed a long weekend in the land of Aztec and Indian ruins, going by way of Mesa Verde National Park. Going on to New Mexico, they viewed the old Aztec structures. Enroute home, they visited Arches National Monument where they took many pictures of the famous natural bridges and other phenomena. Both moving pictures and colored slides were taken, some 100 views to be added to the extensive., collection of Mr. Colledge's photographic skill. MRS. A. i. POWELL TAKES VACATION TRIP TO NEW MEXICO Mrs. A. J. Powell and daughter Jaydene, have returned after an enjoyable two weeks vacation trip to Las Vegas, New Mexico, also spending some time in Taos. They made the trip in company with Mr. a sister and brother-in-laand Mrs. Henry DeYoung of Salt Lake City. They were guests at the home of a niece, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Knowlton, and three sons, David, Daniel and Keith. Dr. Knowlton is a professor in the science department of the university at Las Vegas. DENZEL TURNERS HAVE NEW GRANDSON, BORN IN JAPAN Mr. and Mrs. Denzel Turner are delighted over the news of the arrival of a new grandson, Michael Scott Turner, born August 22, in Tokyo, Japan. The baby weighed 7 lbs. 11 ozs. Friends of Mr. and Mrs. Pat Heal, former Lehi residents, will be interested to know that they are now living in Salt Lake City where Mr. Heal is following the printing business. They moved there .recently from Monticello, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Price visited with the Heals, Sunday, accompanied by their son, Neil Price.
