There will be no charge for admission. Lehi's traditional community Christmas program, held annually the Sunday before Christmas in the stake tabernacle, will be held Firemen to Spray Trees Saturday Sunday, Dec. 21, beginning at 7:30 p.m. This year the program will consist of a community-wid- e presentation of the musical extravaganza, "Praise Ye The Lord," which was presented, in part, in each of the wards earlier this fall. This dramatic presentation will take the place of the annual community Christmas Sing, which has been held in past years. All Sacrament meetings are being held early in order that members may be able to be in the tabernacle by 7:30 p.m. Each ward in the stake will be represented in the presentation for the carolling program. Marcia Colledge, stake MIA drama director, will be in charge of arrangements. Assisting her are the following stake MIA officers, Lor-ne- ll Bateman, music director; Dorthea Thayn, organist; Twila Rockwell, speech director; Horace Hadfield, YMMIA president; J. B. Cooper, activitity counselor of the YMMIA; Beda Peck, YWMIA president, and Clara Peterson, activity counselor for the YWMIA. Carole Peck, organist of the Fourth Ward MIA will also assist, as well as Grant Haws and Joseph Forestier, who have the lighting in charge. Program assignments according to wards are as follows First Ward Dancers and trum: peters. Second Ward Choir, shepherds, angel and Voice of John. Third Ward Voice Choir and trumpeters. Fourth Ward: Choir, Voice of the Lord, trek scene and martyrdom scene. Fifth Ward Stringed instru- ments, choir, Hymn of Doctrine and Nauvoo band. Sixth Ward Choir, King Saul and boy David scene. Seventh Ward Narrator, Voice choir, Miriam and Kirtland Temple dedication scene. Cedar Valley and Fairfield Psalmist and voice choir. The program will feature choral reading, dancing, dramatic scenes string and brass and band music, as well as choral work. The audience will also be asked to parti" cipate in parts of the singing. A full dress rehearsal has been called for Friday, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. This spectacular produtiocn will portray some magnificent moments in the scriptures and in LDS Church history, when music played an important part as a of the experience worshipful Saints in praising the Lord, God. Evans to Observe 52nd Wedding Anniversary Friday, December 19, will mark the 52nd wedding anniversary for Hyrum Clark Evans and Elizabeth Laura Robinson Evans, who were married Dec. 19, 1906, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mr. and Mrs. Evans and their family will observe the occasion quietly. Mr. Evans was born in Lehi, March 25, 1885, a son of William Samuel and Martha Geneva Clark Evans, and has made his home here his entire life. He came to Utah as a lad of 11 years, and has lived most of the time since in Pleasant Grove. His Church activities in the Manila Ward have been in many positions in the Priesthood and the Auxiliaries in both Ward and Stake. He was Deacon Advisor for many years, Sunday School teacher and Supt; President of the YMMIA; Bishop's Councilor and Bishop; High Councilor; Pres. of the High "Priests' Quorum and now Patriarch in the Timpanogos Stake. Adena Warnick, daughter of Charles P. and Christine Larsen Warnick was born in Pleasant Grove March 1, 1888. She married Helge V. Swenson in the Salt Lake is a Temple 23rd of December 1908.
