Kenly Clark Claims Pleasant Grove Bride Sylvan Kenly Clark and his bride, the former Patricia Bingham, greeted their guests at a reception in the Pleasant Grove 6 Ward Recreation Hall on Wednesday evening, Dec. 3, following their marriage in the Salt Lake LDS Temple the same day. The couple's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Owen Bingham of Pleasant Grove, and Mr. and Mrs. Sylvan W. Clark of Lehi. The lovely bride greeted her guests in a gown of white chiffon velvet, fashioned with a fitted and long poin-tic- e bodice, sleeves. Her veil of bridal tulle fell gracefully from a Juliet cap of seed pearls, and she carried an bouquet of Cala lillies and feathered carnations. inc u d e d Bridal attendants Sharon Wilkinson as maid of honor, and Nolene Wright, Jean Bingham and Fern Hill, bridesmaids. They wore frocks of red satin and each carried a white muff centered with red poinsettias. Samuel Terry, a personal friend of the groom, performed best man duties. A Christmas theme was carried out in the decorations and refreshments at the tastefully-appointe- d reception. The young couple, after a short honeymoon, plan 1o make their home in Lehi. 3-- te 1 Excels in Making Doll Clothing Mrs. Richard (Pattai Gary and Claus have one thing in common at Christmas time they are both extremely busy persons. Mrs. Gray annually sews hundreds of doll dresses, not only for Lehi children, but orders come to her from busy mothers from other parts of the state, as well. According to Mrs. Gray, it is a very enjoyable hobby which she started about five years ago when she was unable to get outside. Her sewing machine helped to pass the time away. Mrs. Gray began early in life with her hobby, helping her mother sew for her younger sisters and their dolls. She also had plenty of practice after her marriage when her own daughter delighted in her mother's handiwork. Mrs. Gray designs many of her own patterns and since some neighbor girls first asked her to make them some dresses for their dolls, her imaginative sewing has never stopped. Included in the many items which she makes are beach wear, play togs, frilly formals and wedding ensembles. With each coat, goes a matching hat trimmed with beads or a jaunty feather. Mrs. Gray is now sewing on her third sewing machine and if the demand for her creations continues at the present rate, she will be needing her fourth.
