Show THE LEHI FREE PRESS, I.FHI. UTAH News From Lehi High School By Brent Fox JOURNALISM The class started the year out with lectures from Army and Civil Air Patrol officers. These talks informed the students on opportunities in the air force and civil air patrol programs. CLASS This year's journalism class, under the able direction of Mr. has been making fine progress. The class is divided into two groups one headedby Kari-ly- n Veater, gathering school news and putting out the school paper. The other group is headed by Neva Smith and Paulette Smuiu, are working on the yearbook. Work has already begun on the yearbook, with pictures already being taken. Besides special activities, the journalism class also has the use of a textbook. From this book they are learning about newspaper writing and production. Lun-del- l, There are exactly SENIOR HOP THEME The Senior class met Wednesday, Oct. 8 to choose their theme Senior Hop. for the There were many different records presented such as: Bali Hia, Lovers Island, The End, Rapsody in Blue and Dream World. Each person presented the record of their choice and explained to the other members of the class how to decorate to that theme. After much fuss and elimination, Bali Hia and Dream World were s. chosen as The majority of the class voted for the record, Dream World, by the Four Coins, for the Hop theme. Mrs. Hunt is the former Ina Louise Morris of American Fork. Very pleased grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Jacob T. Hunt, formerly of Lehi and now residing in Salt Lake City; and Mr. and Mrs. Lee A.
