They report an interesting cooking program under the guidance of Mrs. Hary Cowden as leader. All seven of the girls took part in the three-da- y encampment at Balsam Lake near Payson. They staged a skit on the program. The group has held 12 meetings during the summer. A very satisfactory showing was made at the Achievement Day exhibit held Monday. The girls displayed muffins on which each was awarded a red- or second place ribbon. On their record books, six blue ribbons were awarded and one red ribbon. The seven girls, who plan to take part at the county exhibit, September 3, include Char-len- e Covington, Jeannine Cowden, Patricia Sly, Connie Goodwin, Sharlene Price, Gaylen Hutchings and Marilyn Peterson.
