Lott of Chinook, Montana, received his doctor's de gree at the University of 'Wisconsin. Since his return from Vene zuela last year. Dr. Lott has been in residence in Madison, Wisconsin under a Knapp Fellowship grant while writing the conclusion of his research on the governmental system of Venezuela. Prior to his war in Latin America, he was a teaching assist ant in the American government course in the political science de partment of the Wisconsin Univer sity. In addition to the Knapp Fellowship grant, he has been the recipient of the Knapp Residence Scholarship, the Departmental Fellowship in Political Science, and the Henry L. and Grace Doherty Foundation Fellowship, administered under the auspices of Princeton University.
