Taylor, committee chairman. A heavy deposit of sand has been hauled to the diamond and around the base lines and when rolling is completed the grounds will be in first class condition for play. The committee has been assisted by Lehi City and individuals with trucks, Mr. Taylor stated. He expressed appreciation to all those who have helped, including the high school students who did the hand labor under the leadership of ? Dean Coaches Prior and L. K. Peterson. The city furnished the grader and loader manned by Stanley Clark and George Grace. Ernest Cedarstrom furnished a truck and three trucks and three drivers were supplied by Thomas Peck. Albert Peterson used his machine to scatter the sand as it was placed .. The Thome construction company, now working on the road, assisted by loading the material at the pit which is located near the Bernell Bateman home. Mr. Taylor reported that planting of grass and trees bordering the ball park would be considered next fall rather than at the present time. The current paramount purpose of the committee is to prepare the field in excellent shape for the baseball season. P. G. Defeats Pioneer Nine Graduates of the ten LDS Seminaries in the Central Utah area gathered Monday evening in the Joseph Smith building at Brigham Young University for the first Seminary conference. Elder Le Grande Richards of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, was the main speaker. Guests were greeted by Dr. Ernest L. Wilkinson, university president, and William E. Berrett, BYU in charge of religious education. Entertainment and refreshments followed. The church history class, accompanied by Principal Curtis Hadlock and Instructor Elmo Gray, attended from the Lehi Seminary. Congregational singing was directed by Dorene Clark and accompanied by Colleen Leany. vice-presid- Yearbook Honor Roll Revealed Lehi police report that two Salt Lake City boys were seriously injured in separate accidents West of Lehi Sunday afternoon. Both received emergency treatment at the American Fork hospital, then were taken to Salt Lake City for additional treatment. Gary Forsling of 2526 South 3rd East, Salt Lake suffered serious head cuts when he fell out of a motor boat on Utah Lake near Saratoga Resort. Officers said his head was gashed by the propeller. He was brpught to Lehi by W. A. Kirkwood of Salt Lake. Officers did not know his age. " The second boy, Ray Douglas Bock, was injured when kicked in the face by a horse in the Tickville area.
