Adamson to be Wed in Salt Lake Temple is being made Announcement this week of the engagment and approaching marriage of Miss Marilynn Weidenmeier, daughter of Frank Weidenmeier of Palmer Lake, Colorado, and Mrs. Gene- Monday, August 19, in the Salt Lake Temple. Miss Weidenmeier has made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Orville Gunther while attending Brigham Young University. She came here vieve Weidenmeier of Fond du four years ago, attended the BYU Lac, Wisconsin, to Cecil L. Adam-so- for two years, then returned to son of Mr and Mrs. William Fond du Lac to attend Marion Adamson of Murtaugh, Idaho. The College there for one year. For young couple will be married the past year she has been working toward her Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education at Brigham Young University. She will receive her degree this Friday at commencement rites at the uni- The' first meeting of the Presidents' Council of the Lehi literary season was clubs for the 1957-5- 8 held Monday afternoon in the Memorial building, under the direction of Mrs. Leo Loveridge, Serimpian club president, council chairman. The council voted to have a collective project .this year, that of supporting the John Hutchings museum fund. This is the first time the clubs have had a united project, each club in the past selecting its own community welfare project. A tentative schedule was made up by the council for the girls who attended Girls State to visit each club and give a brief report. The schedule awaits approval of individual club membership before it will go into effect. The clubs jointly sponsor one girl to Girls State. The annual Mothers Tea was set fcr April 24, when Lehi's Mother of the Year, to be selected later, will be honored. Another tentative project, that of holding one meeting conjointly and inviting an outstanding speak er was scheduled for November. Each of the nine literary clubs in the community is represented in the council. Officers besides Mrs. Loveridge are Mrs. Hubert of the Greenland, president and Thalian club, Mrs. Paul Evans, president of the Letitian club, secretary. 'Meetings have been scheduled for the first Monday in each month at 2 p. m. in the Memorial building. The meeting wil be held on Tues September 3 because of Labpr Day occurring the previous day. Colleen Slater Calton has returned to her home after undergoing minor surgery at the American Fork hospital. She is reported to be progressing well. Mrs -- H 'C'mon Mr. Adamson will also receive his Bachelor of Science degree, in the school of business management and accounting. On Wednesday, August 21, Mr. and Mrs. Gunther are entertaining in their honor at a wedding reception in the Lehi Fourth ward. Following the reception, the young couple will leave for Seattle, Washington, to make their home, where Mr. Adamson has accepted a position with the Boeing Aircraft company. Exhibitors will bring their projects and record books to the building early in the morning so that displays will be ready for judging at 9 a.m. Out of town judges will evaluate the exhibits. At 2 p.m. the exhibit will be opened to members and the general public, followed by a program in chapel at 3 p.m. Demonstrations will be given during the program.'
