In addition to attending lectures and demonstrations by many outof the standing photographers nation, he was able to study closely the work of hundrdes of other photographers who had entered their work for display at the convention's national exhibit. New Methods Demonstrated At the Exposition, every manufacturer of photographic equipment had a complete display of the very latest products availabla to the trade, Mr. Wotton reported. Many new products show the trend towards automation. A new home movie camera now has an automatic lens that sets itself for a perfect exposure and stops the camera's action when there is not sufficient light to take picture?. This leaves for th3 nothing operator to do but aim and shoot for perfect pictures all the time. The first year Beehive Girls of the Third Ward entertained their mothers at an enjoyable party last Tuesday evening in the Relief Society room, with 20 present, under the direction of their group leader, Ada Mills, the girls prepared favors for their mothers. Mrs. Edith Taft of American Fork, mother of Mrs. Mills, was also present. Prayers were offered by Gloria Ewell and Lois Ann Rowe. Recitation of the "Spirit of the Hive," by the class was led by Jeannine Fox. The group sang "The March of the Beehive Girls". Tap dancing by Jewell Magnus-seand Nancy Fox; pantomines by Renee Jorgensen and Sandra Jones piano duet by Jeannine Fox and Sharon Yates, and a talk, "Honor Thy Mother," by Delia Grace, made up the program. Gloria Ewell and her mother assisted Mrs. Mills with refreshments. Mary Diane Johnson, class member, was unable to attend.
