Show LEHI FREE PRESS, LEHI, UTAH THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 1956 Lewis W- - Sowards, Father of Lehi Woman, Dies at 4-- 90 Mrs. G. S. Peterson has re turned home after threee weeks in Alamosa, Colorado. She was accompanied on the trip by a sister-in-laMrs. Willard w. Sowards of Provo. She was call ed to the bedside of her father, Lewis W. Sowards, 90, taken sur denly ill. Mr. Sowards passed away August 10. A government he employee for many years, served on the road commission for nine years and took an active part in political affairs. He had remained in a remarkable state of health and activity for his advanced age. Funeral services and interment took place in Colorado.
