Fox and Mr. and Mrs. Dean Prior returned home last Friday, after a week in the Southwest. They attended the Indian ceremonial dances at Gall up, New Mexico. They also enjoyed a tour of Carlsbad Cavern, and stops at El Paso, Texas, and Santa Fe, New Mexico. The interesting trip was made by car. Dinner was enjoyed at Juarez, Mexico. He will be pleased to serve his patients at the new address. Sterling Merrell and children, of Columbus, Ohio, was brought to Mr. and Mrs. John Hutchmgs. A member of an Hawaiian troupe which had performed in Columbus brought the report to Utah. She had stayed at the Merrell home, Gladys Cayakus was one of the troupe which performed as a benefit for the new LDS chapel to be built m Columbus. Larson Exchange Vpws GATHER FOR GOLDEN WEDDING OF PARENTS Mr. and Mrs. Max Rothe enjoyed the company of all of their children with their wives and husbands, all of their grandchildren and the Sunday at their home. The large family group jofned in congratulations and good wishes for their important 50th wedding adversary. An elaborate tiered wedding cake was prepared by Mrs. Ernest Rothe of Payson. Bouquets of roses and gladioli were the gift of friends. Grandchildren presented Mrs. Rothe with a beautiful orchid corsage which enhanced her becoming black dress with touches of pink. A boutonaire was also provided for Mr. Rothe. Pictures were taken of the festive group. Many friends and neigh bors called and greetings and cards were received from many from other localities and other states. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Rothe and children, Sandra, David and Allen, of Los Angeles, California, are remaining for a week. Mrs. Maxwell and Mrs. Lottie Packer of Salt Lake City, accompanied them to commencement exercises held at Brigham Young University, Thursday and Friday evenings. Their son, Richard Schroeder, received a teacher's fellowship which will entitle him to his Master's degree from the University of California at Los Angeles. He has specialized in the field of physical education and recreation. Young Schroeder is a former missionary to Argentina. are also visiting with Mrs. Rothe's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lester M. Norberg and with friends and relatives in Provo and other cities.
