At the affair, which promises to be an outstanding social event of the season, the members of the club will honor the girls of the high school senior class, their mothers and the mothers of club members. An outstanding and appropriate program will be presented. All members of the girls group in the senior class are cordially invited to attend and bring their mothers. Shelley with Mrs. Mary Humphries of American Fork, as accompanist, Bishop Glen Sabey , spoke the benediction. Arthur Shaw, a brother, dedicated the grave in the Lehi cemetery. Relief Society members cared for the flowers. Pallbearers were grandsons and nephews: Gary Lewis, Rowland Shaw, Donald Jones, Robert Vanile Russon and Robert Fisher. Interment took place under the direction of the A. H. Wing J. boat-Pick- -- The Calvin Swenson of the Sixth Ward Ward officiated in the First-Sixt- h chapel, at 2:00 p. m. The large attendance and lovely arrangements of flowers denoted the regard of friends and relatives. The prayer at the home was offered by Donald Jones, a grandson. Mrs. Leona Madsen played the organ prelude and postlude, "Though Deepening Trials," and "I Need Thee Every Hour." A vocal trio, Mrs. Ada Robinson, Mrs. Ardelle Zimmerman and Mrs. Leota Peterson, was accompanied by Mrs. Lula Anderson. They sang as the opening selection, "Sometime We'll Understand." Bishop R. Ward Webb of the First Ward offered the invocation. Speakers were Bishop Calvin Swenson, who also read the biographical sketch and expressed the appreciation of the family; Patriarch Andrew Fjeld and Patriarch A. Carlos Schow. They eulogized the qualities of courage and faith shown by the Shaw family in coming to America as converts to the LDS church. Mrs. Shaw had Joined her husband in Utah some time after he had gone with family members. Joseph Broadbent had gone to their home in England as a missionary, was pointed out. Both Patriarch Fjeld and Patriarch Schow spoke as long time friends and associates with Mr. Shaw. They told of his dependability and neighborly qualities. Mrs. Shaw was commended for her unfailing devotion and care during his illness. Consolation was offered through explanation of Gospel principles.
