FOB Full Day oi Entertainment Planned For Alpine Homecoming August 18 The fourth annual Alpine Homecoming will be held Saturday, August 18, with Bishop IL A. Smith and members of the bishopric in charge. All members of the community are assisting on the various committee to make the event a success. All former residents and their families are urged to attend. The events of the day will begin with the band serenade at 6 a. m. under the direction of Ronald Strong. There will be a morning parade under the direction of the Primary. It will be repeated in the evening. Chosen as the small king and gueen for the parade are Mar-de- e Austin and Betty Jean Ingram. Miss Alpine will be Cleora Adam-soJohnny Strong wiil be the honorary Mayor. Concessions and stands run by the M. I. A. and Sunday School will be open throughout the day. n. He made the trip by plane from the Provo Airport, one of 15 boys from Utah, under the leadership of Lt. Wilbur Harding of American Fork. At the airbase, Mr. Price was one of 108 cadets, including 26 on girls. Luncheon was enjoyed and pic tures taken of the various members of the group. Mr. Shaw Is now 74 and is considerably improved after an illness during the past year, though not as active as formerly.
