The first game of the evening between First and Fourth will get under way at 7:30 with the special contests to begin at 8:30 which in turn will be followed by the feature tilt when Second meets Third. Anyone playing In the senior league is eligible to compete in the contest. Base running will consist of running from a standing start from a designated place in the batter's box to first, second, third and home bases in consecutive order. Each runner's time will be recorded with the six finalists running a second heat. In the fungo hitting contest each participant is allowed two turns, tossing the ball into the air while standing behind a designated line and hitting the ball as far as possible with left and boundaries right determining whether the ball is fair or foul. The cement curbing paralleling the CAR, Rrf V0 football field on the east and west sides will be the boundaries with the ball to be hit north from a position indicated by a line between home plate and the pitch-er- 's bats and box. Regulation Softball will be furnished. Those planning to enter should be at the field not later than 8:15 p. m. next Friday nijjht to register. Winners will be named in both divisions.
