The story has passed around that the unit will be called as soon as the training course is completed, and many young Lehi men have been reluctant to t reason, join the guard they said. "No information has been passed on to this outfit concerning possible call to active duty, and every indication is that the unit will not be called," they declared. Young men who enlist in the guard are not subject to draft call, and can receive training which will entitle them to ratings of private first class, corporal or sergeant in the local unit. There are still a number of openings in the Lehi company, and they still need recruits for encampment. Among the objects of interest at the State Capitol building were the dinosaur track, county exhib its, industry displays and the famous "gold room."
