Show FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER LEHI FREE PRESS, LEHL UTAH 1, 1950 Lehi Float Shown In Ptovo Parade Causing considerable favorable comment in the "Back to School" parade in Provo, Saturday, was an attractive miniture float, en tered by the designers, Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Carlson, and spon sored by a Provo business house, The float was entered in the non competitive class. Made for the Lehi Free Press, it was a prize winning float in the Lehi Centennial parade. It carries the Utah theme of both seagull and sego lily. Little Miss Marilyn Carlson, 6, rode on the float The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Carlson, Marilyn has become quite a veteran to riding in parades. Starting at the age of 2, she has ridden in four Lehi parades and has followed with the floats into other towns.
