Show UTAH LEHI FREE PRESS, LEHI, AUGUST 4, 1950 JTUDAY, Slater Family Gather at Reunion Held Liberty Park At Saratoga A reunion of the family and descendants of James W. and Julia E. Smith Taylor gathered in reunion Saturday afternoon and evening. The pleasant af fair was held in Liberty Park, with Arnold Taylor of Magna, in charge. Supper and visiting were enjoyed by the 68 members in attendance from all parts of Utah. From Lehi went Mr. and Mrs Gerald R. Taylor, Mr. and Mrs Abel J. Ekins and children, and Mrs. El Don Keetch (Colleen); Mrs. Ida Chipman, and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley M. Taylor and daughters Sandra and Michel and son, Maurice. were borne lZo members present at the Slater family re union held at Saratoga, Sunday. Luncheon was served at 2 p. m., followed by swimming, races and games for the children, and program. Mrs. Laura Warbur ton was in charge of the pro gram as follows: Accordion duet, Frank and of American Gary Fraughton Fork: acrobatic stunts, Jane Zimmerman; reading, Jo Ann Jensen; clarinet solo, Glenna Meyers of American Fork; vocal n, solo and yodelling, Barbara with guitar accompaniment by her brother, Junior Warburton. Mrs. John Hutchings gave a short history of Joseph and Mary Ann Webb Slater. The group voted to meet each year and gave the committee power to select the place. With the purpose of effecting a family organization, a committee was chosen, headed hy Erma Mitchell Armstrong of Salt Lake City, chairman, with Evelyn Slater, Eva Oxbonow, Laura Warburton and Alice Slater of American Fork, as assisting members. t War-burto- RELATIVES VISIT FROM CANADA A happy occasion for Mrs Addie Kodeback and her son, Harold Rodeback, was the meet ing with three charming nieces and cousins, the Misses Barbara, Margaret and Mary Rodeback, here for the first time from Canada. They accompanied their parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Rodeback of Raymond, Alberta. This was the first visit for Mr. Rodeback in 26 years, although Mrs. Rodeback has been down at intervals.
