Mrs. Harold (Bertha) Fenn, operative patient, returned home, December 24. Bishop Cecil L. Ash received medical treatment, December 24 to 26. , Carol Higginson, 8 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Higginson, is receiving medical treatment She was admitted December 25. Millan and Ila Fowler welcomed a new daughter, December 27. Mrs. John (Marie) Smith returned home December 24. Peek-a-bo- w HOME ON ELDERS CHRISTMAS SUCCESSFUL The Stakewide Elders Christmas project drew to a successful conclusion with the holiday season of some 38 families being made happier by the corps of Santa's helpers from the quorums of each ward and many volunteer workers. The quorums wish to express apprecation to the marchants for their cooperaton in permitting boxes to be placed in their stores, the several civic, social, literary, and other organizations for their contributions of food, clothing, toys, Christmas trees, and cash. In addition, the many individuals who participated in the program are deserving of thanks. The following representatives from the several quorums were in charge of distribution, Roy Smith, First Ward: E. A. Harde, ing, Second Ward; Evan Third Ward; Orin Schow, Fourth Ward; Lloyd Busker, Fifth Ward. Col-ledg- YOUTH INJURED Stephen Trane, 5 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Trane, sustained a serious eye injury Christmas Day when he was shot in the eye by a playmate while they were playing with a bow and arrow. The youth is under the care of a specialist at Utah Valley Hospital at Provo and the condition of his right eye is reported as critical. Hospital in Salt Lake City with a recurrence of pneumonia, an ailment which had necessitated his leaving tne mission field shortly prior to his scheduled release. Mrs. Tingey reports that Darhl is doing quite well and expresses appreciation to his many friends who have inquired. at his home. They attended a Temple session there and met Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Allred. Including a trip into Juarez, Mexico, and a tour of Carlsbad Caverns, they returned home after driving some 4.000 mles.
