FIRE DEPARTMENT ENJOY STEAK DINNER Nine members of Lehi's fire department and their partners enjoyed a steak dinner at Cave Camp in American Fork Canyon last Friday. A delicious dinner was prepared by Evans Cafe. Attending were Fire Chief and Mrs. Thomas Powers, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Price, Mr. and Mrs. Afton Giles, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Woffinden, Mr and Mrs. John Broadbent, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Jamison, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Mrs. Lowell and Broadbent Brown. Committee in charge of the hot dinner were Mrs. Powers and Mrs. Jamison. A new pump and water tank has been installed on the department's auxiliary fire truck to aid in the combating of grass and brush fires, according to Fire Chief Thomas Powers. The auxiliary pick up truck was purchased last spring. A representative of the Lehi Fire Department is attending the State Fireman's convention at Chief PowHeber this week-eners states.
