II Engagements tiff 1 U Marriages Bountiful Virginia Barlow Their dresses were of fuchsia with full chiffon sleeves and their corsages were of yellow and white crysanthemums. Robert Allred, brother of the groom, was best man. The mother of the bride wore a dress of rust and Mrs. Allred wore black, with both having corsages of yellow carnations. Mr. Lee Booth greeted the guests and Ilah Dunsdon was in charge of the gift book. Girls receiving gifts were Leah Nora Abbott and Leah Mangum. Refreshments were under the direction of Mrs. Maylon Hansen of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Georgia Zigler, with the following girls assisting with the serving: Joyce Singleton, Joan Evans and Elaine Norman. Miss Ilah Wing played the solovox while the guests were arriving. Kelsey Chatfield was master of ceremonies for the program which included a vocal duet by Stan Clark and Letta Russon, with their guitars. Mrs. Earl Holmstead gave a flute solo and was accompanied by Phyllis Fox, followed by a reading by Mrs. June Barlow Lillieth Peck. Bountiful of gave a (Miss Utah) vocal solo and a reading was given by Bob Allred. The closing number was a Mirimba solo by Renae Nielson of Salt Lake City. The young couple are both graduates of the Lehi High School and the groom was stud ent body president. The bride was lovely in a beautiful white satin dress with ful leg mutton sleeves and a silk lace yoke trimmed in tiny seed pearls. The skirt was gathered at the back with an old fashioned bustle and train. Her veil was of fine tulle, held together with pearls and tiny silk lace Her corsage was of rosebuds, white and pink chrysanthemums with a white orchid forming the ' center. Little Linda Lee Booth was the flower girl and Brent Hansen, was the ringbearer. Mrs. Lee H. Booth of Delta, sister of the bride, acted as matron of honor and wore a blue taffeta dress with full crepe sleeves and her corsage was of white and yellow chrysanthemums. The bridesmaids were Sharon Hansen, sister of the bride, and mbbumi TOPPERS CLUB Mrs. Lucille Webb was hostess to the Toppers club at her home, Members evening. A , hot dinner was served at 8 o'clock and the remainder of the evening was spent in playing cards, with the first prize going to Mrs. Huggard and the consolation prize being won by Mrs. Holmstead.
